Sabbasaṁyojanaṁ chetvā, yo ve na paritassati; Saṅgātigaṁ visaṁyuttaṁ, tamahaṁ brūmi brāhmaṇaṁ.
Having cut off all fetters they have no anxiety. They’ve slipped their chains and are detached: that’s who I declare a brahmin.
あらゆる束縛を断ち切り、もはや何の憂いも抱かぬ者、その者は枷を脱し、執着を離れたり——かかる者こそ、我は婆羅門と宣言する。
