Asaṁsaṭṭhaṁ gahaṭṭhehi, anāgārehi cūbhayaṁ; Anokasārimappicchaṁ, tamahaṁ brūmi brāhmaṇaṁ.
Mixing with neither householders nor the homeless; a migrant with no bastion, few in wishes: that’s who I declare a brahmin.
在家の者とも交わらず、出家の者とも交わらず、拠り所なく遊行し、欲求すること少なき者――かかる者こそ、我は婆羅門と説くなり。
