They have nothing before or after, or even in between. Having nothing, taking nothing: that’s who I declare a brahmin.
前にも後にも、またその間にも、何ものをも持たず。何ものをも所有せず、何ものをも執らない者――その者こそ、我は婆羅門と呼ぶ。
