They’ve given up sensual stimulations, and have gone forth from lay life; they’ve ended rebirth in the sensual realm: that’s who I declare a brahmin.
感官の刺激を捨て去り、在家の生を離れて出家し、欲界における再生を滅し尽くした者――かかる者こそ、われは婆羅門と呼ぶ。
