Dukanipāta Paṭhamavagga Piṇḍolabhāradvājattheragāthā “Nayidaṁ anayena jīvitaṁ, Nāhāro hadayassa santiko; Āhāraṭṭhitiko samussayo, Paṅkoti hi naṁ pavedayuṁ, Yāyaṁ vandanapūjanā kulesu; Sukhumaṁ sallaṁ durubbahaṁ, Sakkāro kāpurisena dujjaho”ti. Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā piṇḍolabhāradvājo thero gāthāyo abhāsitthāti.
