“yāva, bhante, bhagavato kāyo pakatatto hoti, alaṁ yūsapiṇḍapātenā”ti. 9. Varayācanākathā Atha kho bhagavato kāyo nacirasseva pakatatto ahosi. Atha kho jīvako komārabhacco taṁ siveyyakaṁ dussayugaṁ ādāya yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṁ abhivādetvā ekamantaṁ nisīdi. “ekāhaṁ, bhante, bhagavantaṁ varaṁ yācāmī”ti. “Atikkantavarā kho, jīvaka, tathāgatā”ti. “Yañca, bhante, kappati yañca anavajjan”ti. “Vadehi, jīvakā”ti. “Bhagavā, bhante, paṁsukūliko, bhikkhusaṅgho ca. Idaṁ me, bhante, siveyyakaṁ dussayugaṁ raññā pajjotena pahitaṁ—
