長部経典（DN32 §6.14–6.22）
by a great king, glorious, the lord of the dragons; his name is Virūpakkha. He delights in song and dance, honored by the dragons. And he has many mighty sons Aditi’s child, the great orb— all of one name, so I’ve heard. Eighty, and ten, and one— all of them named Indra.
偉大なる王にして、名声輝かしく、龍族（ナーガ）の主君たる者、その名をヴィルーパッカ（Virūpakkha）という。かれは歌と舞に喜びを見出し、龍たちに囲まれて尊崇を受ける。またかれには多くの勇猛なる息子たちがあり、アディティの子、大いなる光輪——皆ひとつの名を持つと、われは聞き及んでいる。八十と十とひとり、これらすべては、インドラ（Indra）の名をもつ、大いなる力ある者どもである。
