When the devotees of Ñātika heard about the Buddha’s answers to those questions, they became uplifted and overjoyed, full of rapture and happiness. Then the divinity Sanaṅkumāra, having manifested thirty-three life-forms, sat down on the couches of each of the gods of the thirty-three and addressed them, “What do the good gods of the thirty-three think? ナーティカーの信奉者たちは、世尊がそれらの問いに答えられたことを聞き、心喜び、歓喜し、悦楽と幸福（ピーティ・ソーマナッサ）に満ちあふれた。
そのとき、梵天（ブラフマー）サナンクマーラは、三十三の身（アッタバーヴァ）を化現して、三十三天（ターヴァティンサ）の諸天神それぞれの座（パランカ）に座を占め、かの三十三天の神々に向かってこのように告げた。
「善き三十三天の神々よ、どのようにお考えか。かの世尊は、いかに多くの人々の利益のため、多くの人々の幸福のため、世を憐れむがゆえに、神々と人々の利益・幸福・安楽のために歩みたもうことか。およそ仏（ブッダ）を帰依処（サラナ）となし、法（ダンマ）を帰依処と……」
