Rising into the air, he sat cross-legged in the sky, like a strong man might sit cross-legged on a well-appointed couch or on level ground. Seeing the joy of those gods, the divinity Sanaṅkumāra celebrated with these verses: “The gods rejoice— the thirty-three with their Lord— revering the Realized One, That is the topic on which the divinity Sanaṅkumāra spoke. 彼は虚空へと舞い上がり、力強き男が念入りに設えられた臥床の上、あるいは平らな地の上に結跏趺坐するがごとく、大空の中空に結跏趺坐した。かの三十三天の神々の歓喜（sampasāda）を見て、梵天（Brahmā）サナンクマーラ（Sanaṅkumāra）はこれらの偈をもって随喜した。
「神々は歓喜す——
インドラ（Indra）とともにある三十三天の神々は——
如来（Tathāgata）を礼拝し奉りて。」
師よ、これが梵天サナンクマーラの語られた主題であります。師よ、かの梵天サナンクマーラがこの主題を語りたもうたとき、その御声には八つの功徳が具わっておりました——清澄にして、明瞭に聞き取られ、馥郁たる魅力を帯び、よく届き、透き通り、歪みなく……
