そのとき、床屋のロースィカは世尊が承諾されたことを知り、座より立ちあがって世尊を礼拝し、右遶（うにょう）を行じてのち、バラモンのローヒッチャのもとへと赴いた。赴いてのち、バラモンのローヒッチャにこう告げた。
「わたくしはあなたのお言葉に従い、かの世尊にお伝えいたしました。世尊はすでにご承諾くださいました」と。
〔修行者は〕智と見（ñāṇadassana）へと心を向け、傾け導いていく……
ローヒッチャよ、まことに、ある師のもとで弟子がかくのごとき高遠なる勝れた境地（visesa）を得るならば、その師こそは世において謗られるべき方ではない。しかるに、かくのごとき師を謗るならば、その謗りは……
〔修行者は〕了知する。「……この境地においては、もはや成すべきことは何もない」と。ある師のもとで弟子がかくのごとき高遠なる勝れた境地を得るならば、その師こそは世において謗られるべき方では断じてないのである。
