So taṁ sāmaññatthaṁ ananupāpuṇitvā sāvakānaṁ dhammaṁ deseti: ‘idaṁ vo hitāya, idaṁ vo sukhāyā’ti. Tassa sāvakā sussūsanti, sotaṁ odahanti, aññā cittaṁ upaṭṭhapenti, na ca vokkamma satthusāsanā vattanti. So evamassa codetabbo: ‘āyasmā kho yassatthāya agārasmā anagāriyaṁ pabbajito, so te sāmaññattho ananuppatto.
