“idaṁ me, bhante, navaṁ dussayugaṁ bhagavantaṁ uddissa sāmaṁ kantaṁ sāmaṁ vāyitaṁ. Taṁ me, bhante, bhagavā paṭiggaṇhātu anukampaṁ upādāyā”ti. Evaṁ vutte, bhagavā mahāpajāpatiṁ gotamiṁ etadavoca: “saṅghe, gotami, dehi. Saṅghe te dinne ahañceva pūjito bhavissāmi saṅgho cā”ti.
