「世尊よ、このことは直接、世尊の御前にて聴聞し、謹んで受持したものでございます。『アーナンダよ、他の女人たちは座したままあるいは横たわりたまま出産するが、菩薩（ボーサツ）の母君はそのようにして菩薩をお産みにはならない。菩薩の母君はただ立ったままにして菩薩をお産みになるのである』と。世尊よ、これもまた、わたくしは世尊の不可思議・未曾有の法（ダンマ）として心に保ち奉ります。
世尊よ、このことも直接、世尊の御前にて聴聞し、謹んで受持したものでございます。『アーナンダよ、菩薩が母君の胎内より出でたもうとき、まず天の神々（デーヴァ）がその御方を受けとめ奉り、その後に人間たちが受けとめ奉るのである』と。世尊よ、これもまた、わたくしは世尊の不可思議・未曾有の法として心に保ち奉ります。世尊よ、このことも直接、世尊の御前にて聴聞し……」
