梵天の如く、比類なく、魔軍を打ち砕く者よ——
いかなる賤しき生まれの者といえども、彼を目の当たりにして信心を起こさずにいられようか。
我に従わんと欲する者は、ついて来るがよい。
「もし師よ、あなたが正等覚者（sammāsambuddha）の教えを是とされるならば、
我らもまた、かの優れた智慧（paññā）を具えし方のもとで出家いたしましょう。」
ここに三百人のバラモン（brāhmaṇa）たちが——
