彼は、初めよく、中ほどもよく、終わりもよき教え（ダンマ）を説く。意義をそなえ、文句（びゃんじゃな）を具えた、完全に円満にして清浄なる梵行（ぼんぎょう）を明かす。かかる阿羅漢（あらかん）たちに相見（まみ）えることは、まことに善きことである」と。
