“Don’t keep the Buddha out, good park keeper! Our Teacher, the Blessed One, has arrived.” Then Anuruddha went to Nandiya and Kimbila, and said to them, “Come forth, venerables, come forth! Our Teacher, the Blessed One, has arrived!” Then Anuruddha, Nandiya, and Kimbila came out to greet the Buddha. 「園丁よ、世尊を止め申すな。我らが師、世尊がここに到着されたのだ。」
そこでアヌルッダ尊者はナンディヤ尊者とキミラ尊者のもとへと赴き、こう告げた。「お出迎えください、尊者がた、お出迎えください。我らが師、世尊がここに到着されました。」
かくしてアヌルッダ尊者、ナンディヤ尊者、キミラ尊者の三人は、世尊をお迎えするために進み出た。一人は世尊の鉢と衣（えころも）をお受けし、一人は座を整え、一人は足を洗う水をご用意申し上げた。世尊は整えられた座にお着きになり、御足を洗われた。諸々の尊者たちは世尊を礼拝し、傍らに座した。
