「真人には五つの布施がある。いかなる五つか。信をもって布施をなす。心を込めて布施をなす。機に応じて布施をなす。執着なく布施をなす。自他を傷つけることなく布施をなす。信をもって布施をなしたならば、その布施の果報が現れるいかなる境においても、富み栄え、財宝豊かなる者となる。また、容姿端麗にして、美しく、愛でたく、類まれなる美貌を具える者となる。心を込めて布施をなしたならば、その布施の果報が現れるいかなる境においても――」
