比丘たちよ、五つの条件を備えた灌頂を受けた刹帝利の王は、いかなる地域に住まおうとも、自らの王国において安住することができる。その五つとは何か。灌頂を受けた刹帝利の王は、母方・父方の両系において良家の出であり、清浄な血統を持ち、七代前の父祖に遡っても非難の余地なく、疑うべくもない家系を有している。彼は富裕にして豊かであり、財宝を具え、その宝蔵と倉庫は満ち満ちている。彼は強大な権力を有し、四種の軍を率い、その軍は従順にして命に従う。彼は有能な将を擁し——
