“Anujānāmi, bhikkhave, bhikkhūhi bhikkhunīnaṁ ācikkhituṁ— ‘evaṁ pātimokkhaṁ uddiseyyāthā’”ti. Tena kho pana samayena bhikkhuniyo āpattiṁ na paṭikaronti. Bhagavato etamatthaṁ ārocesuṁ. “Na, bhikkhave, bhikkhuniyā āpatti na paṭikātabbā. Yā na paṭikareyya, āpatti dukkaṭassā”ti. Bhikkhuniyo na jānanti— “evaṁ āpatti paṭikātabbā”ti.
