Bhikkhunīnaṁ aṭṭha garudhammā niṭṭhitā. 3. Bhikkhunīupasampadānujānana Atha kho mahāpajāpati gotamī yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṁ abhivādetvā ekamantaṁ aṭṭhāsi. “kathāhaṁ, bhante, imāsu sākiyānīsu paṭipajjāmī”ti? Atha kho bhagavā etasmiṁ nidāne etasmiṁ pakaraṇe dhammiṁ kathaṁ katvā bhikkhū āmantesi— “anujānāmi, bhikkhave, bhikkhūhi bhikkhuniyo upasampādetun”ti.
