sabbe ca bhikkhū hantabbā”ti; Ye te mahāmattā evaṁ matiṁ akaṁsu— kumāro ca hantabbo devadatto cā”ti; Ye te mahāmattā evaṁ matiṁ akaṁsu— yathā rājā vakkhati tathā karissāmā”ti; Atha kho rājā māgadho seniyo bimbisāro ajātasattuṁ kumāraṁ etadavoca— “kissa maṁ tvaṁ, kumāra, hantukāmosī”ti? “Rajjenāmhi, deva, atthiko”ti. “Sace kho tvaṁ, kumāra, rajjena atthiko, etaṁ te rajjan”ti ajātasattussa kumārassa rajjaṁ niyyādesi. 2.3.
