Tikanipāta Catutthavagga Pañcapubbanimittasutta Vuttañhetaṁ bhagavatā vuttamarahatāti me sutaṁ: Sā kho panassa saddhā niviṭṭhā hoti mūlajātā patiṭṭhitā daḷhā asaṁhāriyā samaṇena vā brāhmaṇena vā devena vā mārena vā brahmunā vā kenaci vā lokasmiṁ; idaṁ kho, bhikkhu, devānaṁ suppatiṭṭhitasaṅkhātan”ti.
