This will affect people’s confidence …” After rebuking him … he gave a teaching and addressed the monks: “You shouldn’t wear a robe made of antelope hide, that sign of monastics of other religions. If you do, you commit a serious offense.” On one occasion a monk dressed in a sarong made of stalks of crown flower … in a sarong made of jute, went to the Buddha, and said,
