‘atthaññe āvāsikā bhikkhū anāgatā’ti. Te ‘kappati nu kho amhākaṁ pavāretuṁ, na nu kho kappatī’ti vematikā pavārenti. Tehi pavāriyamāne athaññe āvāsikā bhikkhū āgacchanti thokatarā. Pavāritā suppavāritā, avasesehi pavāretabbaṁ. Pavāritānaṁ āpatti dukkaṭassa. Idha pana, bhikkhave, aññatarasmiṁ āvāse tadahu pavāraṇāya sambahulā āvāsikā bhikkhū sannipatanti, pañca vā atirekā vā. ‘atthaññe āvāsikā bhikkhū anāgatā’ti.
