I undertake the precept to refrain from killing living creatures. I undertake the precept to refrain from receiving gold and currency. I undertake the precept to refrain from stealing. I undertake the precept to refrain from sexual activity. I undertake the precept to refrain from lying. I undertake the precept to refrain from consuming beer, wine, and liquor intoxicants.
私は、生きとし生けるものを害することを離れる学処（シッカーパダ）を受持する。
私は、金銀財貨を受け取ることを離れる学処を受持する。
私は、与えられざるものを取ることを離れる学処を受持する。
私は、梵行（ブラフマチャリヤー）に背くことを離れる学処を受持する。
私は、虚妄を語ることを離れる学処を受持する。
私は、穀酒・果酒・諸々の酔乱の因となる飲料を受用することを離れる学処を受持する。
