The heart’s wish of an ethical person succeeds because of their freedom from desire. <em>Eight assemblies:</em> the assemblies of aristocrats, brahmins, householders, and ascetics. 戒を保てる者の心願は、欲望を離れたるゆえに成就する。
八つの集会（パリサー）： 刹利（クシャトリヤ）の集会、婆羅門の集会、居士（がじ）の集会、沙門の集会。四大王衆天（チャトゥマハーラージカ）の集会。三十三天（タービティンサ）の集会。魔（マーラ）の集会。梵天（ブラフマー）の集会。
かれらは横たわり、未だ得ざるものを得んがため、未だ達せざるものに達せんがため、未だ証せざるものを証せんがために、精進（ヴィーリヤ）を奮い起こすことなく、ただ安穏に過ごす。
八つの世間の法（ロカダンマー）： 利得（ラーバ）と損失、名声と不名誉、誹謗と称讃、楽（スカ）と苦（ドゥッカ）と。
八つの制勝処（アビバーヤタナ）： 内に色想（ルーパサンニャー）を有する者が、外に諸々の色形を見る。それらは小さく、善き色をなすものも、悪しき色をなすものもある――
