さらにまた、友よ、比丘が法（ダンマ）について疑惑し、躊躇するならば……
五種の感官的欲楽（パンチャ・カーマグナ）：
サンガ（僧伽）について疑惑し、躊躇するならば……学処（シッカー）について疑惑し、躊躇するならば……梵行の友（サブラフマチャーリー）に対して怒りを抱き、不満を持ち、傷つき、心が荒廃するならば——友よ、梵行の友に対して怒りを抱き、不満を持ち、傷つき、心が荒廃している比丘、その者の心は、精励（アータッパ）・専心（アヌヨーガ）・継続（サータッチャ）・努力（パダーナ）へと向かわない。心がそれらへと向かわない者、これが第五の心の荒廃（チェートーキラ）である。
