And what does he obtain as king? His retinue is pure. This includes brahmins and householders, people of town and country, finance ministers, military officers, guardsmen, ministers, councillors, rulers, tax beneficiaries, and princes. That’s what he obtains as king. On this it is said: Learned experts in the many different signs and marks prophesied: ‘The young prince will obtain many different things that householders deserve. 王となることで、何を得るのであろうか。その従者は清浄である。バラモンや居士（こじ）、町や地方の人々、財務大臣、武将、門衛、大臣、評議員、諸侯、封禄を受ける者、そして王子たちが、みな清浄な者となるのである。これが、王として得るものである。これについて、次のように説かれている。
さまざまな相（そう）と徴（しるし）に通じたる
博識の人々は、かくのごとく予言せり。
「若き王子は、在家者（ざいけしゃ）にふさわしき
数多くのさまざまなものを得るであろう。
ここにおいて、大地の支配者たる王には、
在家の主（あるじ）にふさわしき多くの楽欲（らくよく）があり——」
