「比丘たちよ、大人（マハープリサ）には三十二の大人相（マハープリサラッカナ）がある。これらの相を具えた大人には、ただ二つの運命のみがあり、他はない。もし在家にとどまるならば、王となる。転輪聖王（チャッカヴァッティ）となり、法によって治める法王となる。その支配は四方に及び、国土に安定をもたらし、七宝（サッタラタナ）を具える。その七宝とは次の通りである。
