「ニグローダよ、ここに苦行者（タパッシー）がいて、裸行者（アチェーラカ）となり、礼儀作法を捨て去り、手を舐めて食を受け、『さあ、お進みください』と呼ばれても従わず、『お待ちください』と言われても立ち止まらない。みずからのために運ばれてきた食も、みずからのために調えられた食も、招待の食事も、これを受けない。壺の口から施されるものも、鉢の口から施されるものも受けない。羊を飼う家からも、武器を持つ者の家からも、箒を持つ者の家からも受けない。二人が共に食事をしているところからも、妊娠している女のいるところからも、乳を与えている女のいるところからも、男のもとに住む女のいるところからも受けない。施食が触れ回られているところからも、犬が群れ集っているところからも受けない。魚も、肉も、穀物の水（チュソーダカ）も、酒（スラー）も、醸造酒（メーラヤ）も口にしない。
