And when he passed away, he was reborn in the very lowest rank of titans, named the Kālakañjas. そして彼が命を終えると、阿修羅（アスラ）の群れの中でも最も低き階位たる、カーラカンジャと呼ばれる阿修羅に生まれ変わった。そして彼が命を終えると、人々はその骸を墓場のビーラナ草の株の上に打ち捨てた。
「クル国の行者（コーラッカッティヤ）よ、沙門ゴータマはそなたについてかく予言された。――クル国の行者コーラッカッティヤは、七日の後、鼓脹（こちょう）の病によって命を終えるであろう。命を終えれば、阿修羅の群れの中でも最も低き階位たる、カーラカンジャと呼ばれる阿修羅に生まれ変わるであろう。そして命を終えれば、人々はその骸を墓場のビーラナ草の株の上に打ち捨てるであろう、と。されば、クル国の行者よ、そなたはほどよく食を摂り、ほどよく水を飲むがよい。沙門（サマナ）の言葉に違わぬよう……
