4.5.2. 苦集諦（くじゅうたい）の解説
では、比丘たちよ、苦の集（タンハー・samudaya）の聖諦（ariyasacca）とは何であるか。
舌（ジヴァー・jivhā）において……身（カーヤ・kāya）において……意（マノ・mano）において――この世にあって、愛しく快く感じられるものがある。そこにおいてこそ、渇愛（タンハー・taṇhā）は生じつつ生じ、宿りつつ宿るのである。
色（ルーパ・rūpa）において……声（サッダ・saddā）において……香（ガンダ・gandhā）において……味（ラサ・rasā）において……
