These ten hosts of gods The Samānas, Mahāsamānas, shone in all different colors. They’re powerful and brilliant, so beautiful and glorious. Rejoicing, they’ve come forth to the meeting of mendicants in the wood. Mānusas, and Mānusuttamas all came, and the gods depraved by play, and those who are malevolent.
これら十の神々の群れ、
サマーナ（Samānā）たちと、マハーサマーナ（Mahāsamānā）たちは、
それぞれ異なる色彩のなかに輝き、
神通力（iddhi）に満ち、光明を放ち、
端麗にして威光あふれる姿で、
歓喜しながら、森の比丘（bhikkhu）たちの集いへと現れ出た。
マーヌサ（Mānusā）たちと、マーヌスッタマ（Mānusuttamā）たちもまた来たれり。
遊戯によって心を穢した神々（Khiḍḍāpadosikā）も来たれり。
瞋恚によって心を乱せる神々（Manopadosikā）もまた、集い来たれり。
