ヤムナー河のほとりより、ダタラッタ（Dhataraṭṭha）の龍たちが来たり、その威光はなはだ輝かし。大龍エーラーヴァナ（Erāvaṇa）もまた、森の集いへと参じたり。
力ずくにて龍王たちを奪い取ろうとする者どもは、ヴァジラハッタ（Vajirahattha、金剛手）によって打ち負かされ、その悉くはヴィローチャナ（Virocana）の名をもって呼ばれる。
バリ（Bali）の軍勢は甲冑を帯びて武装し、吉祥なるラーフ（Rāhu）のもとへと赴き、こう申し上げた。
「尊師よ、今こそその時なり——」
