「私は、在家の生活を捨て、出家（パッバジター）いたしたく存じます。梵天（ブラフマン）が腐敗・汚穢について説かれたことを、私はかねてより聞き及んでおります。在家にとどまる者には、それを完全に調伏することは容易ではありません。私は、家を離れて出家の道に入ることを決意いたしました。」
「あなたこそは、わたくしどもが望む肉親。あなたこそは、わたくしどもが望む夫。もしあなたが在家の生活を捨てて出家されるならば、わたくしどもも共に出家いたしましょう。あなたの赴く境地こそが、わたくしどもの境地ともなるでしょう。」
