「あなたは王政の治め方をよく学ばれよ。私はもはや祭官の職に心引かれることはない。」
六・五 六人の刹帝利（クシャトリヤ）への告知
さて、偉大なる司祭（マハーゴーヴィンダ）なるバラモンは、かの六人の刹帝利のもとへ赴いた。赴いて、かの六人の刹帝利に次のように告げた。
「皆さま、どうかいまや別の祭官（プロヒタ）をお求めください。その方が皆さまの王国の政務を導かれるでしょう。私は、在家（アガーラ）より出家（アナガーリヤ）して、家なき身となることを望んでおります。私がかの梵天（ブラフマー）の、腐敗（アーマガンダ）について語られた言葉を聞いて理解したところによれば、在家に住みながらそれを完全に調伏（ニンマダ）することは、容易ではありません。私は在家より出家し、家なき身となるでしょう。」
そこでかの六人の刹帝利は、一方に退いて——
