Kassapa was awakened at the root of a banyan tree. I was awakened at the root of a peepal tree. Vipassī had a fine pair of chief disciples named Khaṇḍa and Tissa. Sikhī had a fine pair of chief disciples named Abhibhū and Sambhava. Vessabhū had a fine pair of chief disciples named Soṇa and Uttara. Kakusandha had a fine pair of chief disciples named Vidhura and Sañjīva. Koṇāgamana had a fine pair of chief disciples named Bhiyyosa and Uttara. Kassapa had a fine pair of chief disciples named Tissa
カッサパ（Kassapa）世尊は、ニグローダ（Nigrodha）の樹の根もとにおいて正覚を成じ給えり。我もまた、今この時、アッサッタ（Assattha）の樹の根もとにおいて正覚を成じたり。
比丘たちよ、ヴィパッシン（Vipassī）世尊・応供・正等覚者には、カンダ（Khaṇḍa）とティッサ（Tissa）と名づけらるる、優れたる一対の上首弟子（さーわかゆが）ありき。シキン（Sikhī）世尊・応供・正等覚者には、アビブー（Abhibhū）とサンバヴァ（Sambhava）と名づけらるる、優れたる一対の上首弟子ありき。ヴェッサブー（Vessabhū）世尊・応供・正等覚者には、ソーナ（Soṇa）とウッタラ（Uttara）と名づけらるる、優れたる一対の上首弟子ありき。カクサンダ（Kakusandha）世尊・応供・正等覚者には、ヴィドゥラ（Vidhura）とサンジーヴァ（Sañjīva）と名づけらるる、優れたる一対の上首弟子ありき。コーナーガマナ（Koṇāgamana）世尊・応供・正等覚者には、ビッヨーサ（Bhiyyosa）とウッタラ（Uttara）と名づけらるる、優れたる一対の上首弟子ありき。カッサパ
