Bandhumatī nāma devī mātā ahosi janetti. Tena kho pana, bhikkhave, samayena kikī nāma rājā ahosi. Kikissa rañño bārāṇasī nāma nagaraṁ rājadhānī ahosi. Mayhaṁ, bhikkhave, etarahi suddhodano nāma rājā pitā ahosi. Māyā nāma devī mātā ahosi janetti. Kapilavatthu nāma nagaraṁ rājadhānī ahosī”ti. Idamavoca bhagavā.
