There will come to the sacrifice those who steal … commit sexual misconduct … lie … use divisive speech … use harsh speech … 4.6. The Sixteen Respects Next, while the king was performing the great sacrifice, the brahmin high priest educated, encouraged, fired up, and inspired the king’s mind in sixteen respects: Those who speak against the king in this way have no legitimacy. 供犠の場には、盗みを行う者も盗みを離れた者も、邪淫（じゃいん）を行う者も邪淫を離れた者も、妄語（もうご）を語る者も妄語を離れた者も、両舌（りょうぜつ）を用いる者も両舌を離れた者も、悪口（あっく）を語る者も悪口を離れた者も……、やがて集い来るでありましょう。
4.6 十六の観点
さて、バラモンよ、祭官（プローヒタ）たるバラモンは、大いなる供犠（くぎ）を執り行う摩訶毘闍荼（マハーヴィジタ）王の心を、十六の観点によって、教え示し、発起させ、奮い立たせ、歓喜せしめた。
かくのごとく王に異を唱える者どもには、いかなる法（ダンマ）の正当性もない。そも王は、これらすべての人々に対して、すでに宣言をなされたのである。王よ、このことをも供犠（くぎ）を行い、施捨（せしゃ）をなすべき縁由として、御心にとどめ置かれよ。
