「されどアンバッタよ、汝の父母の古き名と氏族を遡りて想い起こすならば、釈迦族（サキャ）の者どもは主人の子らにして、汝はすなわち釈迦族の奴婢の子より生まれし者に他ならぬ。釈迦族はオッカーカ王を祖父と仰ぐ。アンバッタよ、むかし昔、オッカーカ王は、最も愛しく心に適いたる妃の産みし子に王位を継がせんと欲して、先に生まれたる王子たち――オッカームカ、カラカンダ、ハッティニカ、シニスーラ――を国より追放した。またアンバッタよ、かのオッカーカ王にはディサーという名の奴婢がいたのである。かくのごとく、汝が父母の古き名と氏族を遡りて想い起こすならば、釈迦族の者どもは主人の子らにして、汝はすなわち釈迦族の奴婢の子より生まれし者なのである。」
