身体（カーヤ）と触れられるもの（フォッタッバ）とに依りて身体の識（カーヤヴィンニャーナ）が生じ、三者の和合が触（パッサ）であり、触を縁として受（ヴェーダナー）が起こる。意（マナ）と法（ダンマ）とに依りて意の識（マノヴィンニャーナ）が生じ、三者の和合が触であり、触を縁として受が起こる。
「六種の受の類（チャ・ヴェーダナーカーヤー）を知るべし」と、また「六種の渇愛の類（チャ・タンハーカーヤー）を知るべし」と、かくのごとく説かれたることは、これを縁として説かれたるものである。これが第六の六法の組（チャッカ）である。
かくのごとく説かれたるが、それはいかなる縁によりて説かれたるか。眼（チャックhu）と色（ルーパ）とに依りて眼の識（チャックヴィンニャーナ）が生じ、三者の和合が触であり、触を縁として受が生じ、受を縁として渇愛（タンハー）が起こる。耳（ソータ）と……
