「カッチャーナ師よ、一本の樹の根元を『広大なり』と遍満（へんまん）して、その広がりに心を確立して住する比丘と、二、三本の樹の根元を『広大なり』と遍満して、その広がりに心を確立して住する比丘と、この二種の心の修習（修習）のうち、いずれがより広大なりや」
「尊者よ、二、三本の樹の根元を『広大なり』と遍満して住する比丘の修習こそ、より広大にございます」
