家の中に座ったことも……家の中で食事をしたことも……
さて、かつてバークラ尊者と在家の友であった裸形の修行者カッサパが、バークラ尊者のもとへと近づいた。近づいてから、バークラ尊者と挨拶を交わした。懐かしき言葉を語り合い、互いの安否を問うた後、傍らに座した。傍らに座したカッサパは、バークラ尊者にこのように言った。
「女人（マートゥガーマ）の姿形をこまごまと観察したことも……四句の偈（ガーター）一つなりとも、女人に法を説いたことも……比丘尼の住処（ビックヌパッサヤ）を訪れたことも……比丘尼に教えを説いたことも……学尼（シックサマーナー）に教えを説いたことも……」
