And this ten-thousandfold galaxy shakes and rocks and trembles. And an immeasurable, magnificent light appears in the world, surpassing the glory of the gods.’ This too I remember as an incredible quality of the Buddha. 「かくして、この一万の世界（ローカダートゥ）は震動し、揺れ動き、激しく振動する。そして、はかり知れないほど壮大な光明が世界に顕れ、天神（デーヴァ）たちの神威をも遥かに超えるのである。」
これもまた、私が世尊の不思議にして稀有なる法（アッブタダンマ）として心に保ち奉るものであります。尊師よ、これは世尊の御前において直接拝聴し、直接受持したことであります。
「アーナンダよ、菩薩（ボーディサッタ）が母の胎内に宿るそのとき、四方の守護のために四人の天の御子（デーヴァプッタ）が近づき来て、いかなる人間も非人間も、いかなる者も、菩薩あるいは菩薩の母を害することなからしめん、と守護するのである。」
