Their mind leaps forth, gains confidence, settles down, and becomes decided in that perception of the dimension of nothingness. かれの心は、無所有処（ākiñcaññāyatana）の想（saññā）へと躍り入り、清信し、安住し、そこに決定する。かれはかくのごとく了知する——「ここには、空無辺処（ākāsānañcāyatana）の想に縁る諸々の悩乱（daratha）はなく、識無辺処（viññāṇañcāyatana）の想に縁る諸々の悩乱もない。ただ、無所有処の想に縁る一性（ekatta）というこれだけの些少の悩乱のみが存する」と。かれはまた了知する——「この想の領域は、空無辺処の想に関しては空（suññā）である」と。「この想の領域は、識無辺処の想に関しては空である」と。「しかも、空ならざるものがここに存する——すなわち、無所有処の想に縁る一性がそれである」と。
