「友よ、矢はすでに抜き取られ、毒は余すところなく取り除かれた。もはやそなたに害をなすことはできぬ。適切な食物のみを摂るがよい。適切でない食物を摂ってはならぬ——さもなければ、傷口が膿んでしまうであろう。」
その者はこのように思うであろう——「矢はすでに抜き取られ、毒は余すところなく取り除かれた。もはや我が身に害をなすことはできぬ」と。かくして適切な食物を摂るであろう。適切な食物を摂ることにより、傷口が膿むことはない。そして時に応じて傷口を洗い、時に応じて傷口に薬を塗るであろう。時に応じて傷口を洗い、時に応じて薬を塗ることにより、傷口は膿や血に覆われることなく、
