“ayaṁ, bho assalāyana, samaṇo gotamo cātuvaṇṇiṁ suddhiṁ paññapeti. Etu bhavaṁ assalāyano samaṇena gotamena saddhiṁ asmiṁ vacane paṭimantetu. Caritaṁ kho pana bhotā assalāyanena paribbājakaṁ. “ayaṁ, bho assalāyana, samaṇo gotamo cātuvaṇṇiṁ suddhiṁ paññapeti. Mā bhavaṁ assalāyano ayuddhaparājitaṁ parājayī”ti.
