「彼が疑念を抱き、決断しかね、信ずることのできずにいる二つの大人相（マハープリサラクカナ）、すなわち陰馬蔵相（コーソーヒタ・ヴァッタグイヤ）と広長舌相（パフータジヴハター）について」
そこで世尊（バガヴァー）は、梵授（ブラフマーユ）婆羅門が世尊の陰馬蔵相を目の当たりにし得るよう、しかるべき神通力（イッダービサンカーラ）をもって意を凝らされた。ついで世尊は舌を伸ばし、両耳の穴を前後になで、また両鼻の穴をなで、さらに舌をもって額全体を覆われた。
かくして世尊は、梵授婆羅門に対し、偈（ガーター）をもって答えられた。
「三十二相（ドヴァッティンサ）と伝え聞くものは、来世における安楽（スカ）のために——その機縁を、汝に与えん」
