「これは不思議なことでございます、尊者ゴータマよ。これはまことに驚くべきことでございます、尊者ゴータマよ。尊者ゴータマによって、いかに巧みに説かれたことでしょうか。『諸欲（かめ）より欲楽（かますか）が生じ、欲楽を超えたところに、諸欲の中で最上と称せられる至高の楽（かまっがすか）がある』と。尊者ゴータマよ、まことに諸欲より欲楽が生じ、欲楽を超えたところに、最上と称せられる至高の楽があるのでございます。」
