Furthermore, take another teacher who relies on logic and inquiry. They teach what they have worked out by logic, following a line of inquiry, expressing their own perspective. さらにまた、サンダカよ、ここにある師は論理（タッカ）に依り、考察（ヴィーマンサー）に依る者である。その師は、論理によって練り上げられ、考察によって辿られた、みずからの閃きによる法（ダンマ）を説く。しかるに、論理に依り考察に依る師においては、よく論じられたこともあれば、誤って論じられたこともあり、そのとおりであることもあれば、そうでないこともある。サンダカよ、そこで賢明なる人はこのように熟慮する。「この尊き師は論理に依り、考察に依る者である。その師は、論理によって練り上げられ、考察によって辿られた、みずからの閃きによる法を説く。しかるに、論理に依り考察に依る師においては、よく論じられたこともあれば、誤って論じられたこともあり、そのとおりであることもあれば、そうでないこともある」と。
